FAll Out Boy Band Still Rockin’

Pete Wentz Assures Fans Band Is Fine After Tour Postponed

Pete Wentz, drummer for Emo Rock idols Fall Out Boy, came out on Monday to assure their fans that the band is ok in response to fan concern.  Last week they announced the postponement of their tour for “personal reasons”.  Fans responded with floods of messages of concern and speculation.

“No one has left the band, no one is dead, and no one is going to rehab,” Wentz told MTV News late Monday. “I need that as a big pull-quote, man, because everyone thinks that. It’s the danger of language and the danger of the times we’re in.”

One of the rumors circulating was that he and sweetheart Ashlee Simpson were on the outs, but Wentz assured fans that is not true. He stated that they are doing well and fans should not think his personal relationship with her is the cause for the delay.

He did confirm that the reason for the delay is a health issue within the band.  He repeatedly insisted the health issue was not serious, not life threatening and was not drug related. He talked about the band feeling fatigued from constant touring and needing a brief rest so they can bring their A-game when they do go on tour this year.

While you wait for Fall Out Boy to reschedule the Honda Civic Tour, you can always download their music online.  Once the tour is reschedule, look online for Fall Out Boy Concert Tickets near you.
