Joe Walsh Joins Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney is planning a huge tour this summer. Fresh out of the studio for his new album and eager to get back in touch with his fan base, he’s raring to go. When asked why he invited Walsh, he replied: “If you’ve ever listened to rock radio, you KNOW Joe Walsh,” Chesney said in a statement this week. “Nobody’s lived the life quite like him, and absolutely nobody plays guitar like he does, either. I think it’s gonna take it up a bunch getting him out here with us.”
He is using several inventive ideas to get the tour off to a great start. One of these ideas is using an old name to give power to a new tour. He has invited Joe Walsh, famous guitar rocker from such 70s giants as The James Gang and The Eagles, to be his guitarist on tour.
The 70s rock radio guitar icon signed on to the Chesney tour, and will join the touring band in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 3. Having his name on the roster will help Chesney attract a different crowd to his tour, and adds a certain amount of rock icon cachet that the younger rocker hasn’t achieved yet. You can Buy Kenny Chesney concert tickets online.
