New Found Glory Get Out Of Geffen

New Found Glory announced a split from their label, Geffen, by press release earlier this week. The press release sparked speculation about whether the band was fired or the split was mutual. The band’s lead singer, Chad Gilbert, came out today to assure loyal fans and the press that the split was friendly and had been in the works for a while.
Where is the band going next? After five albums with Geffen (under Geffen and various Geffen sub-labels), the band is eager to find a new label and branch out into undiscovered musical territory.
