The Police Grammy Reunion Confirmed

It’s official – Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland will take the stage for the first time in four years. The Police will be one of the many performing at the 49th annual Grammy Awards Feb. 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Police

2003 was the last time The Police performed live together (at their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame).  The Grammy performance will set the tone for an anticipated concert world tour reunion that will surely be one of the top grossing tours of all time.

The Police released their last album, Synchronicity, in 1983; this classic album included such hits as “Every Breath You Take”, “King of Pain” and “Wrapped Around Your Finger”

With any luck a successful tour might spark a new album – that has been 24 years past due.
